Steep hill (rutted dirt) down to ramp -- could trap SOME vehicles, esp in wet/ weather. Otherwise fairly easy. Beware of parking. Not known if public or fees/permission required. Beware of nearby no trespassing signs. NO PARKING provided -- must find other public parking. Only knowledge is a Portsmouth Boy Scout office uses this launch somewhat routinely (possibly with pre-arranged permission).

NOTE: USE CAUTION. Carefully research the CURRENT conditions of this ramp before use. It is large with much parking, and presumed to be public. In NORMAL conditions this ramp might be ideal for all vehicles, trailers, and watercraft. HOWEVER, water levels MUST be high enough for ANY use. By late-summer 2012 (2012-Aug-26) the drought conditions contributed to a huge deposit of river sediment around the bottom of the concrete ramp, making it almost useless, even to foot traffic (canoes, kayaks, etc). As of above date, only a small 20-30ft canal (hydraulic excavation) allowed small craft to float to base of ramp. Sediment was too soft to be safe to walk except to highly agile persons. Use caution.
