Capt. Morelock of the DNR informs us that the Fox River has now been closed from Montgomery to the Stratton Dam near McHenry.

The attached recreational boating restriction has been implemented for the Fox River from the Montgomery Dam to the Algonquin Dam effective 11:00 a.m. on May 14, 2010.

Director Miller has lifted the boating restrictions on the Fox River between the Montgomery Dam and Stratton Dams in Lake, McHenry and Kane Counties.
